ART in TARTA

ART in TARTA is an annual collaboration with the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo, Bowling Green State University, and local high school students from the Young Artists at Work program.
Working with a team of 4 designers, we were provided with three poems written by high school students during their Young Artists at Work workshop and asked to design our interpretation of the poem, while keeping the theme in mind. The theme that year was Restore Planet Earth: The Power of the Sun. Of the six designs selected, I designed two of the buses, which were then installed on the buses in the Toledo Area Rapid Transit Authority fleet. The buses are still in use around the Toledo area today.
